Guy is a director and partner of Trackdown Digital, one of Australia's leading film music and audio service providers. They specialize in recording, editing, producing and mixing Music for film and television.
Trackdown operate its business from three separate locations. One is in Camperdown and has 4 ProTool suites, specializing in recording, mixing and editing sound for television. It also records small ensemble music sessions, dialogue and foley recording.
Trackdown's main facility is adjacent to Fox Studios, Moore Park which house its flagship Trackdown Scoring Stage (TSS) This facility contains the biggest purpose built Orchestral Recording Studio in Australia and can comfortable hold over 100 musicians. This is where Guy conducted his score to Farscape, Peacekeeper Wars and many other projects. Trackdown sub lease part of the building to the leading visual post production house Cutting Edge.
The third location is right next door to the Scoring Stage and is located within the Soundfirm facility on the Fox lot. There, Trackdown have 2 ProTools based music editing suites which are generally operated by Simon Leadley and Tim Ryan who are also partners and directors of Trackdown. This is also where Guy has his own composing suite.
Guy's relationship with Trackdown has grown over many years. Firstly as one of their major clients and more recently as a partner and director, Guy brings to the company years of film music production experience. This synergy works both ways allowing Guy to create many of his own film and television scores with the support of the superb Trackdown staff and facilities.
