PRESIDENT - AGSC
Guy was recently elected President of the Australian Guild of Screen Composers. He has been an active member of the AGSC since its inception and was Vice-President since 2008. He has been instrumental in many AGSC initiatives, most recently as a member of both the AGSC Rates and the Contracts Committee.
He has actively lobbied for screen composers and last month Guy addressed members of Federal Parliament as a Speaker at the launch of the PwC report on The Economic Contribution of Australia's Copyright Industries for the Australian Copyright Council.

DANGEROUS REMEDY
Dangerous Remedy is the story of the remarkable Dr Bert Wainer and two extraordinary women who shook Melbourne society and ultimately transformed it by breaking the illegal abortion racket in the 1960s. Starring Jeremy Sims, William McInnes and Susie Porter this Telemovie was produced by Ned Lander (Radiance, Who Do You Think You Are?) written by Kris Wyld (East West 101, Wildside) and directed by Ken Cameron (Underbelly, Wildside, Brides of Christ).
Guy created a dark and evocative score leaning on musical influences from the period.

A FEW BEST MEN
Guy's most recent feature project was the Box Office success A Few Best Men with (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert director) Stephan Elliot. This is their forth feature collaboration together. Apart from producing all the songs and score for the film, Guy also had a cameo as "Yanni, the new age harpist". Seriously!

EAST WEST 101
EAST WEST 101 has been a highlight of Guy's scoring career. The show has received numerous awards, been sold to over 200 countries and received the highest critical acclaim. Guy completed scoring the third season in early 2011.

TWO AWARDS FOR A MODEL DAUGHTER
Guy received the 2010 award for Best Original Song Composed for the Screen, for ‘Hold Me’ from A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne, which was performed by the wonderful Wendy Mathews and also won Best Music for a Mini-Series or Telemovie for the same program which Guy composed in 2009 conducting the dark orchestral score on the Simon Leadley Scoring Stage at Trackdown.
A MODEL DAUGHTER - The Killing of Caroline Byrne explores the suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of 24 year old Caroline Byrne in 1995. It unravels her father's battle for justice in proving, through his unwavering and steadfast perseverance, that his daughter was murdered.

GUY RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) and the AGSC (Australian Guild of Screen Composers) recently presented Guy the 2009 INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD.
Recognized as one of the most prestigious accolades for an Australian screen composer, this award has previously recognized the likes of Gary McDonald and Laurie Stone, The Wiggles, Peter Best, Bruce Rowland, Lisa Gerrard, Bruce Smeaton and David Hirschfelder.
At the awards evening Guy was also nominated for Best Music for a Children's Television and 2nd year running for Most Performed Composer - Overseas.

FARSCAPE
The US hit TV series Farscape continues to be a part of Guy's life with the release of Volume 3 in the Farscape Classics Soundtrack series. FARSCAPE CLASSICS: VOL 3 features complete scores to the memorable episodes THE CHOICE (season 3) and THE LOCKET (season 2). These emotionally charged scores showcase Guy's diverse musical talents, which have helped elevate this creative sci-fi television series, produced by the Jim Henson Company, to its cult phenomenon status.

AFTRS INTERVIEW
