That year, Guy also composed the score to the horror feature film Cut starring Molly Ringwald and Kylie Minogue for Mushroom Pictures and in 2000 began scoring the hit Sci-Fi series Farscape produced by Hensons. Farscape has been a monumental project for Guy keeping him busy for over three years culminating in a big budget television Mini Series “Farscape - Peacekeeper Wars” which enabled him to enlist the services of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra and personally conduct the 140 strong orchestra and choir to create one of his largest film scores to-date. The project has spun off four currently available Soundtrack Albums.
In 2001, following in his father’s footsteps, Guy directed his first animated TV series called Old Tom (52 x 1/4 hours) for ABC television in which he wrote a number of the stories and scored the entire series. He has since written, scored, produced, and directed the animated television special “Blinky Bill’s White Christmas” which featured his song “Christmas in Australia” performed by Christine Anu and released on the “Myer’s Spirit of Christmas” CD in 2005. Christine was invited to perform Guy’s song at that year’s “Carols in the Domain” which was broadcast live on the Seven Network to over two million people.
